Game scholars come from different institutions and different disciplinary backgrounds. Some may find it hard to locate other game scholars and game studies publications. One of the aims of DiGRA Central and Eastern Europe is to make this easier.
In addition to our annual CEEGS conference, we have asked people from various countries in the CEE region to be contact persons. Below you will find information on scholars to whom you can write if you are interested in the game studies community in a particular country, or in the research published in that country’s language(s). The list of countries is incomplete but we hope to extend it in the future. In addition, perhaps our Game Studies Starter Kit will be of some use to you.

The Board of DiGRA Central and Eastern Europe has also expressed solidarity with Ukraine, which was invaded by the Russian Federation in 2014 and on a far greater scale in 2022. We would like to support the game scholars affected by these invasions and their implications. At this moment, we can offer support in the form of information and contacts. The scholars in question are welcome to write to contact@ceegs.eu or yaraslauikot@gmail.com.
