The Board may appoint a Student Liaison to work in the interest of students. The Liaison can take part in relevant meetings and can suggest their own actions. They are not a Board member and thus do not have voting rights in the Board.
The Liaison’s term is either two years or until the next CEEGS conference after they have completed their current degree, whichever happens first. After the term ends, the Board may decide to appoint the next Student Liaison. They are then chosen from among volunteers (if there are any). When choosing the Liaison, priority will be given to Master’s and Bachelor’s degree students over PhD students
